Keeping People Safe!
Child Locator
Children and some adults can wander off. That is why we have developed a locator beacon that can be worn by children and adult patients. It is not a GPS unit. You do not have a sign up fee or monthly charges. It is a dhild locator that is based on tried and true radio telemetry. The transmitter emits a sonic tone that can be picked up by a receiver up to 30 miles away. Batteries last up to a month and can be easily changed. This system has been used in the back country of Alaska for tracking lost children. It has also been used for patient tracking on alzheimer units, in the military and by the police force.
We will train you in the use of our product and will help you set up a safety plan for the loved one in your care.
Wilderness Tracker
There are a multitude of outdoor activities that we participate in every day. Each of these activities has its own risks, hazards, and threats. At Wilderness Tracker we hope to lower some of those risks by making it possible to find people who may become lost. We at Wilderness Tracker want to improve the odds of being found quickly and safely.
Our devices work like this: A person or child simply puts on a belt containing a small personal transmitter which emits a signal using radio telemetry. If that person or child becomes lost, Search and Rescue teams use a radio telemetry receiver and tune into the unique signal assigned to that personal transmitter. Because the signal can be detected up to thirty miles away, Search and Rescue can quickly close in and find the lost person within a matter of minutes.
Radio telemetry is a technology that has been in use since World War II and has been used successfully to find property, people and animals including rodents as small as mice. This technology is proven to work and will help to keep your family and friends safe when participating in outdoor activites.
Be it hunting, skiing, camping, snow mobiling, hiking, or some other outdoor activity that you choose; let us help you by providing the technology to assist you in staying safe, secure, and alive.
